## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 19TH TWO CERTIFIED PILOTS WERE CONDUCTING PATTERN WORK AT DWH AIRPORT. PILOT IN THE LEFT SEAT WAS AT THE CONTROLS AND COMPLETED ONE SUCESSFULL TOUCH AND GO. PILOT IN THE LEFT SET UP FOR A SECOND TOUCH AND GO AND AFTER TOUCHDOWN PILOT IN RIGHT SEAT STATED HE WAS GOING TO HELP WITH FLAPS. PILOT IN THE LEFT SEAT SAW THE HAND OF THE RIGHT SEAT PILOT ON THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE INSTEAD OF FLAPS AND SHOUT "NOT GEAR HANDLE". LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS ACCUATED AND AIRCRAFT DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH AIRSPEED TO CONTINUE FLIGHT. DESPITE LEFT SEAT PILOT'S ATTEMPT TO TAKEOFF THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO SETTLE AND THE GEAR COLLAPSED. RIGHT SEAT PILOT ADMITTED IF STATMENT TO FAA INVESTIGATOR THAT HE PULLED THE LEVER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
