## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE OPERATOR WAS COMPLETING A CHARTER FLIGHT, INBOUND ON THE ILS RUNWAY 4 FOR KPHN. THE OPERATOR HAD CLOSED HIS IFR FLIGHT PLAN. DURING THE LANDING PHASE, THE PIC NOTED WHAT LOOKED LIKE A DEER RUNNING ACROSS THE RUNWAY. AS THE AIRCRAFT GOT CLOSER TO THAT SPOT, A SECOND DEER RAN ACROSS THE RUNWAY AND STRUCK THE RIGHT PROPELLER. NO INJURIES REPORTED, AND THE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS RESTRICTED TO THE PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
