## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER LANDING AND WHILE TAXING TO PARKING, THE PILOT TURNED THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO THE AIRPORT TAXIWAY. THE PILOT TURNED THE AIRCRAFT IN A RIGHT TURN INTO A RAMP AREA AND STRUCK A CONCRETE TRAFFIC BARRIER. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE CONCRETE TRAFFIC BARRIER RESULTING IN EXTENSIVE PROPELLER DAMAGE, DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE COWLING AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE WHEEL ASSEMPLY. PILOT STATED THAT HIS LANDING LIGHT HAD BECOME INOPERATABLE AND WAS NOT AWARE THAT HE HAD TURNED PRIOR TO THE TAXIWAY AND STRUCK THE BARRIER.

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19930923039159I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19930923039159I), Sep 23, 1993: Mooney M20E (N2569W), Klamath Falls, OR. Engine running rough. Smoke filled cockpit. Forced landing in field. Found oil cap was off engine.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
