## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 1ST 2024, PIC DEPARTED 2IS (AIRGLADES) DIRECT TO X51 (HOMESTEAD GENERAL) TO AVOID STORMS AS THE ORIGINAL PLAN WAS TO FLY TO THE BAHAMAS. PIC WAS USING FLIGHT FOLLOWING. CONDITIONS WERE REPORTING VFR. PIC CROSSED MIDFIELD AND ENTERED LEFT DOWNWIND FOR 18. IT STARTED RAINING DURING THE APPROACH AND LANDING. PIC STATED THEY LANDED HARD. RAIN COMPLICATED THE LANDING (DISTORTING PILOT'S VISUAL CUES) AND MADE THE PAVEMENT SLIPPERY. PIC TAXIED TO THE RAMP AND PARKED. DURING THE POST FLIGHT, THE PIC NOTICED THE PROP STRIKE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
