## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 07/02/2024 A CESSNA 425 DECLARED AN EMERGENCY DUE TO THE SUDDEN SHUT DOWN OF THE RIGHT ENGINE. AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO PERRYVILLE REGIONAL AIRPORT KPCD. AIRCRAFT LANDED AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE RIGHT ENGINE WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND THE COMPRESSOR SECTION HAD SHED MOST OF THE COMPRESSOR BLADES WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE TURBINE SECTION. THE ENGINE WAS UNECONOMICAL TO REPAIR, THE COST OF A REPLACEMENT ENGINE DEEMED THE AIRCRAFT UNECONOMICAL TO REPAIR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
