## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED HE WAS AT FLAPS APPROACH AND LANDING GEAR DOWN PRIOR TO STARTING DOWN ON A STRAIGHT IN VISUAL APPROACH TO RW 25. HE COULDN'T GET THE AIRPLANE TO SLOW DOWN ENOUGH TO BRING IN FINAL FLAPS UNTIL VERY SHORT FINAL. HE STATED HE TOUCHED DOWN FAST AND GOT ON THE BREAKS HARD. UPON SLOWING HE HEARD/FELT THE SOUND OF WHAT HE ASSUMED WAS A FLAT TIRE SO HE STOPPED ON THE RUNWAY, GOT OUT AND CONFIRMED BOTH MAIN TIRES WERE FLAT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
