## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 07/18/2024 AFTER LANDING ON RWY 36 AT OCF THE PILOT STRUCK A BIRD DURING ROLLOUT. AFTER STRIKING THE BIRD THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO KNOCK THE BIRD REMAINS OF BY USING RUDDER INPUTS. DURING THIS USE OF RUDDER INPUTS THE PILOT OVER CORRECTED RESULTING IN THE AIRCRAFT MAKING A SHARP TURN TO THE LEFT WHICH CAUSED THE RIGHT-WING TIP TO SCRAPE THE GROUND AND THE PROP TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE GROUND. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
