## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 07/23/2024 AT 2253Z (1453L), A ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (LYC) FLIGHT DEPARTED ANCHORAGE TED STEVENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PANC), FOR ST. MARY'S - PITKAS POINT AIRPORT (PASM) ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN IN VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (VMC).

UPON ARRIVING AT ST. MARY'S IN VMC, THE AIRCRAFT WAS LINED UP WITH OTHER THAN THE RUNWAY LANDING SURFACE AND LANDED.

THIS ACTION WAS CONTRARY TO 14 CFR 91.3; 121.195.

ON 07/24/24 AN INVESTIGATION COMMENCED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
