## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 25, 2024, AT 18:10 CDT, A MOONY M20 AIRCRAFT, REGISTERED TO THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, LANDED ON THE RUNWAY 13 WITH GEAR UP FOLLOWING POWER LOSS IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKEOFF AT STEPHENS COUNTY AIRPORT (BKD), BRECKENRIDGE, TX. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED ON A PERSONAL FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE, AND THE PILOT SUSTAINED NO INJURIES. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM STEPHEN COUNTY AIRPORT ON JULY 25, 2024 AT 18:00 CDT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
