As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 3, 2024, AT APPROXIMATELY 1305 MDT, A MOONEY M20R, LANDED GEAR-UP ON RWY 13 AT THE GRANTS-MILAN MUNCIPAL AIRPORT, KGNT, AND SKIDDED DOWN THE RUNWAY AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THIS RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE PRIVATE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT THE DOUBLE EAGLE II AIRPORT, KAEG, AND WAS THE FIRST POST ANNUAL INSPECTION FLIGHT. NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED.

INVESTIGATION OF THE INCIDENT DETERMINED THAT THE PILOT/^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SIMPLY FORGOT TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. NO MECHANICAL ANOMALIES WERE NOTED WHEN THE ON-SCENE FSDO PMI CYCLED THE LANDING GEAR AFTER A TOW TRUCK/CRANE PICKED UP THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
