## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 17, 2024, AT OR AROUND 11:20 MST, A FIREFLY 8B-15, HIT A FENCE IMMEDIATELY AFTER LANDING (INCIDENT) AT 5767 PINION GRANDE RD. NW IN ALBUQUERUQE, NM, ON A PERSONAL FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT, AND THE CERTIFICATED COMMERCIAL PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED IN ALBUQUERQUE, NM ON AUGUST 17, 2024.

THE INVESTIGATION DETERMINED A GUST OF WIND PUSHED THE BALLOON INTO THE FENCE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
