## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS PARKED OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT IN A THUNDERSTORM EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS. THE NEXT MORNING, PILOT PERFORMED PREFLIGHT INSPECTION OF AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. PILOT AND WITNESS STATEMENTS THAT DURING ROTATION AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED UNCOMMANDED ROLL TO THE RIGHT. AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE GROUND RIGHT WING FIRST, THEN ENGINE/PROPELLER, SETTLING ON ITS COLLAPSED GEAR. POST INSPECTION OF FLIGHT CONTROL CABLE CONTINUITY WAS SATISFACTORY. DAMAGE TO RIGHT AILERON REFLECTS CONTROL SURFACE TO HAVE BEEN IN THE DOWN POSITION AT IMPACT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
