## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 21, 2024, AT APPROXIMATELY 15:00 LOCAL TIME, AN MBB-BK 117 C-2 HELICOPTER AIR AMBULANCE EXPERIENCED AN AIRCRAFT MAST MOMENT LIMITATION EXCEEDANCE WHILE PERFORMING A SLOPE LANDING IN A CONFINED AREA. THE MAIN ROTOR BLADES CONTACTED THE WIRE STRIKE KIT CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE HELICOPTER. THE PILOT AND TWO PASSENGERS WERE UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
