## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

UPON DOING THE LANDING CHECKLIST, GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN AND LANDING GEAR DID NOT COME DOWN. THE PILOT TRIED ONE MORE TIME AND NOTICED THAT THE GEAR HANDLE WAS EASY TO MOVE AND SUDDENLY LOOSE. HYDRAULIC POWER WAS NOTED AS ON. NO GEAR DOWN LIGHT. NO GREEN GEAR LIGHTS WERE ON. THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION PROCEDURES WERE INITIATED , INCLUDING HAND PUMPING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND PUTTING THE EMERGENCY GEAR HANDLE DOWN TO RELEASE THE GEAR. UNSUCCESSFUL GEAR EXTENSION. HYDRAULIC POWER WAS STILL ON. REPEATED EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AGAIN. A PROCEDURE TO SHAKE THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT PER THE MANUAL TO RELEASE THE GEAR NUMEROUS TIMES WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. PILOT CLIMBED TO SAFE ALTITUDE DIVING AND PULLING UP TRYING TO GET THE GEAR TO COME OUT . PILOT ALSO TRIED TURNING ON AND OFF THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM.

PILOT DECIDED TO FLY TO SAND SPRINGS POGUE AIRPORT STILL WORKING THE GEAR PROBLEM. CONFIRMED BY PERSONNEL ON THE GRAOUND THAT THE GEAR WAS STILL UP , PILOT CHOSE TO PERFORM A GEAR UP LANDING IN THE GRASS BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND THE TAXI WAY. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH NO INJURIES TO OCCUPANT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
