## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON AUGUST 30TH, 2024, AT 1325 EDT, AN ASH26 GLIDER WAS BEING TOWED BY A

PA25 DOWN THE 2,800-FT-LONG GRASS RUNWAY AT CAESAR CREEK SOARING CLUB

(2OH9) WAYNESVILLE, OH. APPROXIMATELY HALF-WAY DOWN THE RUNWAY, THE

GLIDER ROTATED, THEN IMMEDIATELY PITCHED UP AND ASCENDED RAPIDLY PULLING

THE TOW ROPE UP PITCHING THE PA25 NOSE DOWN. THE TOW PILOT RELEASED THE

TOW ROPE TO REGAIN CONTROL OF THE TOW AIRCRAFT. THE GLIDER STALLED AT A

HEIGHT OF ABOUT 100-150 FT ABOVE THE GROUND. THE GLIDER’S RIGHT WING

DROPPED SLIGHTLY, THEN THE LEFT WING DROPPED, AND THE GLIDER ROLLED

ALMOST 90 DEGREES TO LEFT. THE GLIDER DESCENDED NOSE DOWN AND IMPACTED

THE GROUND.
