## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A POST MAINTENANCE TEST FLIGHT, THE PILOT RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT AND LANDED. PILOT THEN TAXIED TO RUNWAY 8 AT 57C, PERFORMED A GROUND RUN-UP, SWITCHED FUEL SELECTOR TO THE FULLEST TANK, LEFT, AND DEPARTED. DURING ROTATION AND AT APPROXIMATELY 300 FEET AGL, ENGINE POWER AND FUEL PRESSURE DECREASED. PILOT TURNED RIGHT AND PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY LANDING INTO A CORN FIELD APPROXIMATELY 1.5 MILES SOUTH OF THE AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE AND PILOT WAS UNINJURED.
