ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2024, AT APPROXIMATELY 1345 EASTERN TIME, AN EXPERIMENTAL PROVINCE SONEX WAS PERFORMING A TAKEOFF AT ROBERT’S FIELD AIRPORT ON RUNWAY 30 IN SULPHUR SPRINGS, IN. DURING TAKEOFF ROLL, THE AIRCRAFT TURNED RIGHT AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WENT DOWN INTO A SHALLOW DITCH AND THE RIGHT WING STRUCK THE GROUND CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP INTO AN INVERTED POSITION IN A SOYBEAN FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANIAL DAMAGE AND THE SOLE OCCUPANT ONBOARD WAS FATALLY INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
