## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROXIMATELY 16:30 MDT, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS ON TAKE-OFF ROLL TO DEPART FROM ASE ON A FERRY FLIGHT TO RIL (LOCATED 44 NM NW). AT APPROXIMATELY 80 KTS, THE PILOT NOTICED TWO BIRDS FLASH INTO THE PATH OF THE AIRCRAFT. PILOT VERIFIED ENGINE INSTRUMENTS WERE NORMAL AND DEPARTURE WAS CONTINUED. PILOT NOTICED HIGH FREQUENCY VIBRATION FROM THE #2 ENGINE AT HIGH POWER SETTINGS DURING CLIMB OUT. HE CONFIRMED ENGINE INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL AND CONTINUED THE FLIGHT TO RIL. AFTER LANDING AND SHUTDOWN, EVIDENCE OF BIRD INGESTION WAS FOUND ON THE NUMBER TWO ENGINE NACELLE AND A BLADE ON THE FIRST STAGE FAN APPEARED TO BE BENT. DURING FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE, BIRD REMAINS WERE FOUND AND A WILD-LIFE STRIKE REPORT (2024-09-24-011848) WAS SUBMITTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
