## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER SPREADING DRY SEED ON FIELD, DURING THE CLIMB OUT, ENGINE STARTED TO MISFIRE AND LOSE POWER. THE PILOT LEVELED THE AIRCRAFT ON A WEST/SOUTHWEST HEADING. WITHOUT CHANGING POWER SETTINGS, HE STARTED A LEFT TURN IN AN EFFORT TO RETURN TO SPRAYING FIELD TO LAND. WHILE FLYING OVER NEARBY SHORT FIELD, THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND HIT A TREE APPROXIMATELY 20 FEET IN HEIGHT COMING TO A FULL STOP.
