## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT TOOK OFF AT 0730 AND AFTER TAKEOFF THE FBO CONTACTED THE FLIGHT CREW ON 123.05 FREQUENCY THAT THEY SAW AN UNUSUAL "SMOKE" FROM OUR LH TIRE.

AIRCREW INFORMED THE ATC (OMAHA APP) AND RAN THE APPROPRIATE CHECKLIST.

MINNEAPOLIS ACC ASKED THE CREW IF THEY WANTED TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD RUN A RISK ASSESSMENT WITH GRI TOWER TO DETERMINE IF THE WHEEL LOOKED DAMAGED.

GRI TOWER AND RESCUE ONE CONFIRMED THE GEAR AND TIRE WERE (BOTH) IN PLACE. THE CREW DECIDED TO HOLD OVER GRI TO BURN FUEL FOR 30 MIN AND TO RUN THE APPROPRIATE CHECKLIST.

CREW MADE THE APPROACH AND LANDED NORMALLY. CREW AND THE FBO INVESGIATED AND FOUND THE LH TIRE TO BE FLAT. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO WHEEL, AIRCRAFT OR RUNWAY IN ANY WAY. TIRE AND WHEEL WAS CHANGED, PROPER LOGBOOK ENTRY MADE.

CREW FILLED AN ASRS NASA REPORT TO DESCRIBE WHAT HAD HAPPENED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
