## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PLANE RETURNED TO HOME BASE AT KJGG, LANDING ON RUNWAY 13. THE PILOT MADE A WHEEL LANDING, TOUCHING DOWN ON CENTERLINE. THE PLANE ROLLED OUT NORMALLY UNTIL THE PILOT BEGAN BRAKING. THE PLANE PULLED TO THE RIGHT. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO USE LEFT RUDDER BUT FELT THE PLANE DID NOT RESPOND. THE PILOT INCREASED BRAKING PRESSURE TO PREVENT IT FROM DEPARTING THE RUNWAY, BUT IT DEPARTED THE PAVED RUNWAY SURFACE. AS THE RIGHT WHEEL ENTERED THE GRASS, THE PLANE FLIPPED FORWARDS ONTO ITS BACK. THE VERTICAL STABILIZER WAS CRUSHED AND BENT, CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
