## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 10/23/2024 AT APPROXIMATELY 3 PM CST THE AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIING FOR TAKEOFF BETWEEN HANGAR 1 AND HANGAR 2 AT THE MIAMI MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (MIO) WHEN THE WINGTIP OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS STRUCK BY A CITY VEHICLE THAT WAS BACKING OUT OF HANGAR 1. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT WING TIP. THE CITY VEHICLE SUSTAINED MINOR SCRATCHES. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED AND TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT TO THEIR STORAGE HANGAR THAT IS LOCATED ON THE MIAMI MUNICIPAL AIRPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
