## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON OCT 30, 2024, AT APPROXIMATELY 1702 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME A CIRRUS DESIGN CORP, MODEL SR22T, UPON LANDING AT HARTFORD, CT (HFD) AIRCRAFT OVERRAN THE END OF RUNWAY 29. PILOT WAS DIRECTED TO RUNWAY 29 DUE TO RUNWAY 02 BEING CLOSED FOR A DEAD ANIMAL. AIRCRAFT WAS UNDAMAGED AND RETURNED TO THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIED BACK TO RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
