## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN PERFORMING TOUCH AND GOES AT KGKY WITH A CFI AND STUDENT PILOT ON BOARD. DURING ROLL OUT ON RUNWAY 16, PILOT REPORTED A BIRD STRIKE AT APPROXIMATELY MIDFIELD DURING ROTATION. AIRCRAFT WAS AT APPROXIMATELY 20 TO 50 FEET AGL AND THE CFI TOOK THE CONTROLS AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT ON THE REMAINING RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO PARKING WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED A DENT APPROXIMATELY 5 INCHES IN LENGTH AND 1/4 INCH DEEP ON THE INBOARD LEADING EDGE OF THE RIGHT WING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
