AFTER LIFT-OFF AND RETRACTING THE LANDING GEAR THE PILOT NOTICED THAT A FUEL CAP WAS NOT SECURE AND WAS LEAKING FUEL.

THE PILOT DECIDED TO DISCONTIUE THE TAKE-OFF CLIMD AND ATTEMPTED TO LAND BACK ON THE REMAINING RUNWAY.

THE PILOT FAILED TO COMPLETE A BEFORE LANDING CHECKLIST.

THE PILOT FORGOT THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS NOT EXTENDED.

THE PILOT TOUCHED DOWN ON RWY 36R WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUFFERED MINOR DAMAGE.

NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
