## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 11/07/2024 A CESSNA 150L REPORTED HITTING A SMALL BIRD JUST BEFORE LANDING AT KSUS. AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO PARKING WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. AIRCRAFT INSPECTED BY MAINTENANCE AND DAMAGE WAS FOUND ON THE LEADING EDGE OF THE LEFT WING. THE LEFT WING WAS REMOVED AND SHIPPED TO A REPAIR STATION IN PAOLA, KS FOR REPAIR. THE REPAIRED WING WAS REINSTALLED ON THE AIRCRAFT AND APPROVED FOR RETURN TO SERVICE. NO FURTHER ACTION TAKEN THIS MATTER IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
