## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THAT HE AND THE INSTRUCTOR STARTED GROUND ROLL FOR TAKE-OFF ON RW 05 AND WHEN A FEW FEET IN THE AIR, THE INSTRUCTOR PULLED THE THROTTLE BACK COMPLETELY TO SIMULATE AN ENGINE OUT. WHEN THE AIRPLANE CONTACTED THE RUNWAY, IT HAD A HARD BOUNCE LANDING. AFTER THE SECOND BOUNCE, THE AIRCRAFT BANKED RIGHT ON TO THE GRASS. AS THE ARCRAFT CONTINUED ON THE GRASS, IT STRUCK AIRPORT SIGNAGE AND COLLAPSED THE NOSE GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT THEN PITCHED FORWARD AND EXPERIENCED SUBSEQUENT ENGINE STOPPAGE DUE TO PROPELLER STRIKE. THE INSPECTOR WAS NOT ON SCENE DUE TO THE ACCIDENT OCCURRING ON 11/07/2024 AND NOT REPORTED UNTIL 12/05/2024.
