## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT-IN-COMMAND (PIC) PERFORMED PREFLIGHT. PIC DECIDED THEN TO FUEL AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO DEPARTURE AND INSTALLED TOW BAR WHILE WAITING FOR THE CONGESTION AT THE FUEL FARM TO ALLEVIATE.

PIC ELECTED TO NOT FUEL AIRCRAFT DUE TO CONSTANT CONGESTION AT FUEL FARM AND PERSONAL TIME CONSTRAINTS. THE PIC DID NOT PERFORM ANOTHER PREFLIGHT OF THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO ENGINE START, TAXIED AIRCRAFT TO THE ACTIVE RUNWAY, PERFORMED ENIGINE RUN-UP, AND TAXIED ONTO THE RUNWAY TO DEPART. AS FULL POWER WAS APPLIED FOR TAKE-OFF, THE TOW BAR MADE CONTACT WITH THE PROPELLER WHICH DAMAGED ALL FOUR PROPELLER BLADES. THE TAKE-OFF WAS SUBSEQUENTLY REJECTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
