## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON NOVEMBER 15, 2024, AT 1639 HRS. LOCAL TIME A DA42 WAS ON A RELOCATION FLIGHT FROM KRYY TO KDAB FOR MAINTENANCE. DURING THE FINAL APPROACH TO DAB, CREW NOTED AN UNSAFE LANDING GEAR INDICATION. THE CREW REQUESTED A LOW APPROACH FOR INSPECTION BY THE TOWER.

THE TOWER CONFIRMED THAT THE LEFT MAIN AND NOSE GEAR WERE DOWN, BUT THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR REMAINED UP. THE CREW HELD OVER THE RACETRACK WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING AND CONTACTED PEA DISPATCH ON 121.95 TO EXHAUST ALL OPTIONS BEFORE LANDING.

COORDINATION WAS MADE WITH DAB TOWER TO LAND ON THE LONG RUNWAY, WITH ARFF AND COUNTY FIRE RESCUE ON STANDBY.

THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND AND THE PILOT INTENTIONALLY MADE A PATIAL GEAR UP LANDING ON RUNWAY 7L. THE LEFT WING STRUCK THE RUNWAY UPON LANDING AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF TO THE RIGHT INTO THE GRASS.
