## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON NOV 25, 2024, AT APPROXIMATELY 1700 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. A CITATION 560XL MADE CONTACT WITH THE GROUND WHEN THE NOSE WHEEL DETACHED FROM THE LANDING GEAR DURING TAXIING. THE NOSE WHEEL HARDWARE WAS NOT FOUND. FURTHERMORE, THE NOSE WHEEL ASSEMBLY WAS LAST REPLACED ON JAN 10, 2024, AND THE AIRCRAFT HAD COMPLETED 102 LANDINGS BEFORE THE INCIDENT. THE CREW ON BOARD DID NOT SUFFER ANY INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
