## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 2ND AT AROUND 1200PM LOCAL TIME THE AIRCRAFT INCURRED A PROP STRIKE. THE FLIGHT WAS INSTRUCTIONAL, AND THE STUDENT ATTEMPTED A GO AROUND ON THE 4TH PATTERN/LANDING BUT ADDED POWER AND REDUCED BACKPRESSURE ON THE YOKE CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO SINK TOWARDS THE RUNWAY. THE INSTRUCTOR PILOT COULD NOT RECOVER THE DESCENT IN TIME, ALLOWING THE NOSE GEAR TO FULLY COMPRESS AND PROP TO STRIKE THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
