## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT REPOSITIONED FROM KFXE TO KOPF. AFTER LANDING 9L AT KOPF, AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LOCATED AT THE SOUTH END OF THE AIRPORT FOR PASSENGER PICK UP. AFTER LOADING PASSENGER, THE AIRCRAFT REPOSITIONED FROM ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^TO RUNWAY 9L AND HELD SHORT. DURING THIS TIME, THEY REQUESTED TO PERFORM THE ANTI-ICE SYSTEM CHECK AS REQUIRED. THIS REQUIRED ENGINES TO BE THROTTLED TO 40% UNTIL AIRCRAFT REMOVES "COLD" MESSAGE AND NO "HOT" OR "LEAK" MESSAGES ARE SHOWN. AFTER RECEIVING THE TOWER RELEASE FOR DEPARTURE. SMOKE WAS NOTICED FROM THE LEFT SIDE. THIS MAKE AND MODEL AIRCRAFT IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH A BRAKE TEMP WARNING SYSTEM. TOWER WAS CALLED FOR FIREFIGHTING ASSISTANCE AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS EVACUATED SUCCESSFULLY WITH NO INJURIES. NO KNOWN MAINTENANCE CONDITION WAS PRESENT, SUSPECT BRAKE OVERHEAT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
