## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT STATED THE FLIGHT WAS NORMAL UNTIL HE SELECTED THE GEAR DOWN, HE RECEIVED THE "INTRANSIT LIGHT" AND NEVER RECEIVED THE NORMAL "THREE GREEN" LIGHTS INDICATING THE GEAR WAS IN THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO YAW THE AIRCRAFT TO GET THE GEAR TO FULLY EXTEND TO THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL AND DID NOT GET A DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION, THE PILOT CYCLED THE GEAR SEVERAL TIMES AND WAS UNSUCCESSFUL GETTING THE GEAR DOWN AND LOCK INDICATION. THE PILOT DID A FLYBY OF THE TOWER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. THE PILOT LANDED ON RUNWAY 32 AT WHICH TIME THE MAIN GEAR COLLASPED AND THE PLANE SLID OFF THE RUNWAY STRKING ONE RUNWAY LIGHT AND TWO TAXI LIGHTS AS IT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MOST OF THE DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING FROM CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY AND TAXI LIGHTS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
