## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING A ROUTINE TAKEOFF FROM RUNWAY 27 AT LEWIS UNIVERSITY AIRPORT (LOT), THE PILOT-IN-COMMAND (PIC) INITIATED A STANDARD FULL-STOP LANDING. DURING FINAL APPROACH, THE PIC RECEIVED AN AURAL GEAR DISAGREE WARNING. DESPITE THIS WARNING, ALL VISUAL GEAR INDICATIONS APPEARED NORMAL. THE PIC ELECTED TO CONTINUE WITH THE LANDING PROCEDURE.

UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT SANK TO THE LEFT, ACCOMPANIED BY AN AUDIBLE SOUND OF SCRAPING METAL. RECOGNIZING A POTENTIAL ISSUE, THE PIC APPLIED FULL POWER AND ATTEMPTED A GO-AROUND. THE PIC CYCLED THE LANDING GEAR AND DEPLOYED THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION SYSTEM. AFTER CONFIRMING WITH THE TOWER THAT THE LANDING GEAR APPEARED DOWN AND LOCKED, THE PIC PROCEEDED WITH ANOTHER LANDING ATTEMPT.

AS THE AIRCRAFT CROSSED THE THRESHOLD OF RUNWAY 27, THE PIC REDUCED ENGINE POWER. HOWEVER, THE AIRCRAFT STALLED JUST OVER THE THRESHOLD. UPON LANDING, THE GEAR COLLAPSED, CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO COME TO A REST ON RUNWAY 27.

NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED, AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE DUE TO THE GEAR COLLAPSE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
