AIRCRAFT IMPACTED WESTMEYER ROAD APPROXIMATELY 3,450 FEET FROM RUNWAY 17 THRESH HOLD AT BAZ. IT THEN SLID APPROXIMATELY 125 FEET THROUGH AN OLD FENCE LINE (THERE WERE FENCE POSTS BUT NO WIRE OR TREES) ROTATING TO THE LEFT AND CAME TO REST FACING NORTHEAST.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25LA065](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25LA065), Dec 28, 2024: Piper PA-28 (N5263W), New Braunfels, TX, substantial damage.
