## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHEN ON DOWNWIND, PILOT SELECTED GEAR DOWN HOWEVER THE GREEN “GEAR DOWN” INDICATOR LIGHT DID NOT COME ON. PILOT CONTACTED THE FBO AND ASKED THEM TO VERIFY THE GEAR WAS DOWN AND OVERFLEW THE AIRPORT. FBO PERSONNEL STATED THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. PILOT RE- ENTERED THE LEFT DOWNWIND AND PULLED THE THROTTLE TO IDLE IN ORDER TO CHECK THE GEAR WARNING HORN, WHICH DID NOT SOUND. PILOT MADE A NORMAL LANDING AND DURING THE ROLL OUT UPON BRAKE APPLICATION THE AIRCRAFT STARTED VEERING TO THE RIGHT, THE GEAR BEGAN TO RETRACT, AND THE AIRCRAFT SLID TO A STOP. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO GEAR DOORS, RETRACT MECHANISMS, AND THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
