## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANUARY 03, 2025, AT APPROXIMATELY 1030 CENTRAL STANDARD TIME THE PILOT RECEIVED ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ FRESH OUT OF MAINTENANCE FROM THE REPAIR STATION. THE PILOT TOOK OFF FROM 41TS IN ANNA, TX. AND WITHIN TEN MINUTES INTO FLIGHT THE AIRCRAFT STARTED LOSING OIL PRESSURE. AIRCRAFT SLOWLY LOST ENGINE POWER. PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY LANDING AND LANDED IN A FIELD IN FATE, TX. THE ENGINE MECHANICAL FAILURE DAMAGED THE CRANKCASE LEAVING A HOLE IN THE TOP SECTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
