## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JANUARY 17, 2025, DURING LANDING, THE PIC INADVERTENTLY CYCLED THE LANDING GEAR SWITCH TO THE UP POSITION IMMEDIATELY AFTER TOUCHDOWN, CAUSING THE LEFT MAIN AND NOSE GEAR TO RETRACT. THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR REMAINED EXTENDED DUE TO CONTACT WITH THE DIRT LANDING STRIP, PREVENTING MORE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

THE PIC STATED THAT HE INTENDED TO RETRACT THE FLAPS IMMEDIATELY AFTER TOUCHDOWN TO IMPROVE BRAKING EFFICIENCY, AS RECOMMENDED IN THE C-210 PILOT OPERATING HANDBOOK. HOWEVER, HE MISTAKENLY ACTUATED THE LANDING GEAR SWITCH INSTEAD OF THE FLAP SWITCH.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
