## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT ELECTED TO TOUCH DOWN TOWARD THE MID POINT OF THE RUNWAY TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF TAXIING DUE TO TAXIWAY CLOSURES. AFTER LANDING, THE PILOT MISJUDGED SPEED AND DISTANCE RESULTING IN THE FRONT HALF (APPROXIMATE) OF THE AIRPLANE CROSSING OVER THE THRESHOLD AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY AT A GUESTIMATED SPEED OF 5 KNOTS CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT MAIN TIRE AND MAIN GEAR DOOR, ALONG WITH THE RUNWAY THRESHOLD LIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
