## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER LANDING ON RUNWAY 28L AT MONTEREY REGIONAL AIRPORT, CONTROLLER INQUIRED ABOUT PARKING LOCATION. PILOT RESPONDED "NORTHWEST RAMP." MONTEREY TOWER PROVIDED TAXI CLEARANCE TO NORTHWEST RAMP VIA TAXIWAYS B AND G AND TO CONTACT GROUND CONTOL. PILOT BEGAN TAXI ROUTE TO NORTHEAST RAMP STRAIGHT AHEAD VIA TAXIWAY L, CROSSING RUNWAY 28R. MONTEREY TOWER COULD NOT IMMEDIATELY REACH THE PILOT BEFORE HE CROSSED THE RUNWAY. WHEN THE PILOT WAS ON GROUND FREQUENCY, HE WAS INFORMED AND ISSUED BRASHER WARNING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
