## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

IN-CHARGE FLIGHT ATTENDANT NOTIFIED THE FLIGHT CREW VIA

INTERCOM OF A FUEL ODOUR IN THE FORWARD GALLEY.

DECLARED MAYDAY AS A PRECAUTION. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT.

THE SOURCE OF THE FUEL WAS DETERMINED TO HAVE BEEN A MINOR LEAK FROM THE RIGHT WING ROOT, AFT SPAR WING STRAP WHERE THE CENTER TANK MEETS THE RIGHT WING TANK. THE DEFECT WAS REPAIRED IN CCORDANCE WITH A319 SRM 51-76-12.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS DEEMED TO BE AIRWORTHY AND

RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
