## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT SLOWED TO GEAR SPEED AND ACTUATED THE SWITCH FOR GEAR DOWN. HE HEARD THE GEAR COME DOWN AND THE INDICATOR SHOWED THE GEAR HAD COME DOWN. PILOT WENT THROUGH THE REST

OF THE SETUP FOR LANDING, TURNED FOR FINAL AND MADE A NORMAL LANDING. HE HAD ADDED A LITTLE THROTTLE, FELT THE MAINS TOUCH SO AT THAT POINT, PULLED THE POWER TO IDLE. THE NOSE WHEEL CAME DOWN AND TOUCHED SO HE REACHED FOR THE TRIM WHEEL TO SETUP FOR THE TOUCH AND GO TAKEOFF AND NOTICED THE NOSE WAS STILL COMING DOWN. BEFORE HE COULD DO ANYTHING THE NOSE DROPPED AND THE PROP STUCK THE PAVEMENT AND THE PLANE SLID TO A STOP. PILOT THEN EXITED WITHOUT INCIDENT OR INJURY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
