## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT JUST HAD A LEFT ENGINE CHANGE AND REQUIRED AN ETOPS IN-FLIGHT VERIFICATION. ENROUTE, IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE LEFT ENGINE OIL QUANTITY WAS AT 11 AND THE RIGHT WAS AT 16 AND CONTINUED TO DROP. MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDED THE FLIGHT LAND IMMEDIATELY. MAINTENANCE ASSESSED THE ISSUE AND DETERMINED THE LEAK ORIGINATED FROM THE ENGINE OIL LUBE PUMP. THERE WAS SOME DAMAGE FOUND TO THE AREA WHERE THE PUMP MATES TO THE GEAR BOX. A QDR HAS BEEN RAISED BY ACM TO DETERMINE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN WITH THE VENDOR OF THE ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT LUBE PUMP WAS REPLACED AND THE AIRCRAFT IS BACK IN SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
