## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A BEECHCRAFT BE36 BONANZA, WAS ATTEMPTING A TAKEOFF FROM RUNWAY 17R AND EXPERIENCED INTERMITTENT ENGINE POWER FLUCTUATIONS. PILOT ELECTED TO ABORT TAKEOFF AFTER GETTING 1 FOOT OFF THE GROUND. DURING ROLL OFF, ENGINE WOULD NOT DECELERATE BY NORMAL PROCEDURES. AIRCRAFT MAGNETOS AND IGNITION KEY WERE TURN OFF AND BRAKES WERE AGGRESSIVELY APPLIED TO AVOID DEPARTURE FROM RUNWAY IMPROVED SURFACE. AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP APPROXIMATELY 30 FT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY WITH 2 FLAT TIRES. THERE WAS NO OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
