## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SUNDAY MARCH 2 AT KCRE AT ABOUT 520AM LOCAL I WAS TAKING OFF RUNWAY 05. DURING TAKEOFF I NOTICED A STRONG VIBRATION FROM THE FRONT OF THE AIRCRAFT. I IMMEDIATELY SHUT DOWN ENGINE AND GOT OUT TO INSPECT. I FOUND THE FRONT NOSE WHEEL WAS MISSING. I THEN MOVED THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE RUNWAY SO AS NOT TO IMPEDE OPERATIONS.

NO INJURIES MINOR DAMAGE TO FRONT NOSE WHEEL AND PROP, PRESUMABLY DUE TO PRIOR STRIKE FROM A. FLYING WHEEL. THE AIRCRAFT IS A PUSHER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
