## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 03/10/2025, AT APPROXIMATELY 1739 EDT, SUBJECT AIRCRAFT WAS DEPARTING KCRE WHEN RIGHT AFTER TAKEOFF A LARGE FLOCK OF BIRDS FLEW IN FRONT OF THE AIRCRAFT. AS A RESULT, THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK MULTIPLE BIRDS TO WHICH THE CREW REPORTED THEY NOTICED AN IMMEDIATE NOTICEABLE CHANGE IN THE ENGINE TONE. THE CREW ELECTED TO RETURN TO KCRE AND LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

AIRCRAFT INSPECTION REVEALED EVIDENCE OF BIRD INGESTION INTO #2 ENGINE. ALSO, THE RIGHT-HAND LANDING LIGHT DOOR EXPERIENCED NEGLIGIBLE DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
