## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PIC STATED ON LANDING APPROACH THE PIC INCREASED THROTTLE BUT THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THE ENGINE. THE ENGINE STILL HAD POWER BUT WAS NOT PRODUCING THE COMMANDED AMOUNT OF POWER. DUE TO THIS, THE PIC WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN LIFT AND MAKE IT TO THE RUNWAY AND WAS FORCED TO LAND SHORT OF THE RUNWAY BUT STILL WITHIN THE FOOT PRINT OF THE AIRPORT. UPON LANDING, THE RH LEADING EDGE, ROUGHLY THE HALFWAY POINT OF THE WING, BUCKLED DUE TO THE FORCE OF THE LANDING AND THE WING STILL BEING FULL OF FUEL. THE PIC THEN PROCEEDED TO TAXI ONTO THE RUNWAY AND TO THE RAMP AREA UNDER THE AIRCRAFTS OWN POWER. NO INJURIES REPORTED.

CAUSE OF THE INCIDENT IS STILL UNKNOWN AND THIS REPORT WILL BE AMENDED TO SHOW THE CAUSE OF THE INCIDENT WHEN THAT INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
