AN INSPECTOR FROM THE RIVERSIDE FSDO REACHED OUT TO THE PILOT ON APRIL 4 AND A FOLLOW UP CALL ON APRIL 08, 2025, TO DISCUSS THE INCIDENT. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THE AIRCRAFT AND WAS ENROUTE FROM KINGMAN AIRPORT (KIGM) EVENTUALLY TO HOME BASE IN WASHINGTON STATE. AT APPROXIMATELY 12:25 AT 13000 FEET THE PROPELLER TIP CAME OFF CAUSING A SEVER VIBRATION. THE PILOT TURNED TOWARDS VICTORVILLE, THE CLOSEST AIRPORT WITH SERVICES AND SET UP FOR A LANDING ON RUNWAY THREE. ON BASE TURN THE ENGINE STOPPED AND THE PILOT SET UP BEST GLIDE FOR AN EMERGENCY LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SHORT OF THE RUNWAY IN THE APPROACH AREA. DUE TO GUSTY WINDS AND SOFT SURFACE THE AIRCRAFT ENDED UP ON THE NOSE AND 90 DEGREES TO THE SIDE. EMERGENCY CREW RESPONDED RIGHT AWAY INCLUDING THE AIRPORT MANAGER AND FBO MANAGER. NEITHER THE PILOT NOR ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HAD NOTABLE INJURIES. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IS AWAITING THE INSURANCE REPORT AT THIS TIME. NO FURTHER ACTION IS REQUIRED WITH THIS INVESTIGATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
