## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON APRIL 6, 2025, AT APPROXIMATELY 13:50 MST, A GROUND COLLISION OCCURRED AT PHOENIX DEER VALLEY AIRPORT INVOLVING A BEECH J35 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^AND TWO PARKED AIRCRAFT, A CESSNA 150M ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AND A CESSNA 177 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THE ENGINE START-UP OF THE BEECH J35, THE PILOT DID NOT ENGAGE THE BRAKES, RESULTING IN THE AIRCRAFT MOVING FORWARD FROM ITS PARKING POSITION. THE BEECH J35 TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 60 FEET BEFORE COLLIDING WITH THE TWO PARKED AIRCRAFT.

THE BEECH J35 FIRST IMPACTED THE RIGHT WING OF THE CESSNA 150M. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE CESSNA'S PROPELLER CAUSED DAMAGE TO APPROXIMATELY THREE FEET OF THE LEFT-WING TIP OF THE CESSNA 177. ADDITIONALLY, THE LEFT WING OF THE BEECH J35 BECAME ENTANGLED WITH THE TIE-DOWN CHAIN OF THE CESSNA 177, CAUSING THE BEECH J35 TO PIVOT TO A 90-DEGREE ANGLE. THIS MANEUVER PUSHED THE NOSE OF THE BEECH J35 INTO THE FUSELAGE OF THE CESSNA 177.

THE PILOT PROMPTLY SHUT DOWN THE ENGINE, AND THIS IS WHERE THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST.
