## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT LANDED IN THE GRASS INTENTIONALLY TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY AND NOSED OVER AFTER ROLLING OVER A SMALL MOUND AND UNEVEN PATCH OF GRASS. THE PILOT SUSTAINED MINOR CUTS AND WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL TO BE EVALUATED. THE PILOT WAS RELEASED SHORTLY AFTERWARD. TWO WITNESSES SAW THE ACCIDENT UNFOLD AND CALLED EMERGENCY SERVICES. THEY WERE DOING MAINTENANCE WORK CUTTING THE GRASS AT THE AIRPORT, WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN THE REASON FOR THE UNEVEN PATCH OF GRASS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN25LA152](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN25LA152), Apr 9, 2025: Corben Junior ACE (N941KW), Jeanerette, LA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain airplane control during the landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
